Australia: Curtis Island LNG exports reach 1.64 mt in November

LNG exports from the three liquefaction plants located on Curtis Island off Gladstone reached 1.64 million tons during the month of November.

This represents a 15.1 percent increase over the 1.42 million tons of LNG exported during the month of October, data from the Gladstone Ports Corporation shows.

The volumes for the financial year 2017 have reached 7.57 million tons of LNG, the data shows.

The majority of LNG exported from the Curtis Island LNG facilities landed in China (906,251 tons), followed by South Korea (482,381 tons) and Japan (189,908 tons), with 63,040 tons of LNG being delivered to Singapore.

China, South Korea and Japan have received the major chunk of LNG exports during the financial year 2017, however, cargoes were also delivered to Malaysia, India, Singapore, Mexico and the United Arab Emirates, according to the GPC data.
