Australia: New South Wales Boaters Support Clyde River Dredging

The State Government’s decision to invite tenders for the Clyde River bar dredging has been supported by the New South Wales boaters.

Safety for boaters in the Batemans Bay area and improvement of economic boost for the town are expected to be enhanced by these undertakings.

The Primary Industries Minister, Katrina Hodgkinson, and State Member for Bega, Andrew Constance, stated that funds are in place for the work and tenders will be called next month.

The dredged material is to be placed at Corrigans Beach in line with an agreement reached with the Eurobodalla Shire Council.

The tender is expected to close on December 16.
