Awilco LNG Agrees WilForce Charter Deal

Norway-based Awilco LNG ASA has secured a time charter contract for its 156,000 cbm liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel WilForce.

The company said that the ship, with tri-fuel diesel electric (TFDE) propulsion, has been committed on a 9-12 month deal to an undisclosed oil and gas major.

Subject to customary inspection and vetting acceptance of the 2013-built ship, the contract is scheduled to commence in September 2018, subsequent to the vessel’s scheduled dry-docking.

Awilco LNG said that the contract is estimated to contribute an annualised EBITDA of about USD 26 million during the charter period.
