Bahrain: STATS Group Reports Success at Best Practices and Integrity Management Conference

STATS Group’s strategy of expanding its presence in the Middle East and GCC States took a significant step forward with their attendance at the Best Practices in Pipeline Operation and Integrity Management conference in Bahrain.

As a Platinum Sponsor of the event, it gave the company an excellent exposure and access to some of the leading exploration companies and contractors in the region, and other key players amongst the 420 delegates from 26 countries which attended the exhibition.

STATS Group memebers were honoured to meet Bahrain’s Minister for Oil and Gas, His Excellency Dr Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, when he visited the STATS Group stand at the exhibition.

STATS’ staff, including Technical Director Angus Bowie, also met with representatives from Saudi Aramco and other operators and the BISEP technology made a huge impact with delegates.

The event also highlighted opportunities for STATS to supply In-Line Weld test tools for testing new welds/flanges in the region. STATS method of performing localised hydrostatic tests in place of shutdown/flooding/pressure testing, would reduce system down time and increase worksite safety by minimising pressure-test volume.

Angus Bowie presented a White Paper on High Integrity Isolation for Mid-Line Repair Scopes which was well received by delegates.
