Bahri Takes Delivery of Its Third RORO Ships from Hyundai MIPO

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia Bahri has taken delivery of a new 26,000 DWT vessel, specialized in general cargo, today in South Korea.

The ship was named Bahri Tabuk and it was built by South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai MIPO. This is the third vessel delivered from a series of six vessels that Bahri ordered from this shipyard in 2011 for a total value of SAR 1.543 million. The financial impact of the delivered vessel on the company’s revenue will materialize during the third quarter of 2013.

Bahri has three more general cargo vessels under construction at Hyundai MIPO in South Korea, with expected delivery during 2013 and the first half of 2014.
