Bang Na Canals Dredging Scheme Kicks Off

Bangkok’s Bang Na District Office has joined the Royal Thai Navy in the canals dredging project to enhance drainage efficiency, as well as to honor Their Majesties the King and Queen.

Dredging activities started in front of the Hydrographic Department, with the office’s Director-General, Charin Boonmoh, inaugurating the event and welcoming participation from Bang Na District Office and the general public.

The event is part of a larger campaign of improving drainage efficiency and public landscaping in Bang Na district, according to the National News Bureau of Thailand.

Earlier this year, Thanon Sanphawut Road received a similar facelift, where the nearby canal was dredged and trees were trimmed in front of the Hydrographic Department.
