Baringa Appoints New Supply Chain Partner

John Calder has joined consultancy firm Baringa Partners as Partner to lead its cross-industry Supply Chain practice.

This division of the business covers end-to-end supply chain improvements, sourcing and procurement, supply chain planning and logistics, inventory and warehousing.

Calder has worked in the supply chain sector for fifteen years and joins Baringa from Accenture, where he most recently lead the Resources Supply Chain practice focused on the energy, minerals and mining and utilities sectors.

Prior to his long career at Accenture, Calder worked at BMW, where he took on the role of Logistics Planner at the Mini manufacturing operation in Oxford. He is a member of Oil and Gas UK’s Supply Chain Group and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.
