Bejing Starts Implementation of Green Public Transport

Beijing air-purifying scheme was recently launched, showcasing the LNG Bus Startup Project and Beijing’s new social public interest event on environmental protection.

As a significant step in Beijing’s five-year air purification plan, Beijing Bus Group has purchased 3,000 Foton AUV LNG buses, of which more than 400 have been officially put into service in the first go-live phase. This is the start of the implementation phase of Beijing’s integrated solutions to green public transport.

According to management, the remaining Foton AUV LNG buses will be fully operational in the first quarter of 2014.
