Belgium: Zeebrugge Terminal to Re-Export LNG Cargo

Belgium’s Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal is set to re-export a cargo of LNG on February 20, according to the Zeebrugge Port Authority.

The cargo will be shipped by the Golar Artic, a 140,643 m3 tanker.

Golar LNG recently said in a statement that it has executed a time charter for the Golar Arctic, to a major Japanese trading company for a period of 3 years.

The Zeebrugge terminal is operated by Fluxys LNG and has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas.
