Bibby Offshore Appoints Non-Executive Director (UK)

 

Bibby Offshore Limited announce that Mr Archie Kennedy has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Bibby Offshore (Holdings) Board.

Most recently, Mr Kennedy was Integration Director supporting Centrica PLC throughout the transition resulting from the acquisition of Venture Production by Centrica. Previously, he was Managing Director at ConocoPhillips (UK) from 2004 until 2009. Before taking on the role of Managing Director, he was responsible for Conoco’s upstream businesses in the Gulf of Mexico and Canada. Mr Kennedy graduated with a degree from Manchester University in Mechanical Engineering, he also holds an MBA from Aberdeen University, and his first senior role was as Business Unit Manager for Conoco. In his early career he held a variety of engineering and operational roles including Offshore Installation Manager duties on the Hutton TLP North Sea Platform.

Mr Kennedy has extensive oil and gas knowledge with over 30 years experience in the industry. He is a well known and widely respected figure in the Aberdeen market and throughout the global oil and gas community.
