BOA Thalassa to Conduct 3D EM Survey in North Sea

The survey is expected to commence early May, using the vessel BOA Thalassa.

The vessel is BOA Offshore’s newbuild, of MT 6007 design and is the world’s first custom built for seabed logging operations to detect hydrocarbons beneath the seabed.

EMGS uses its proprietary electromagnetic (EM) technology to support oil and gas companies in their search for offshore hydrocarbons. EMGS supports each stage in the workflow, from survey design and data acquisition to processing and interpretation.
