Brazil: Chevron Extends Contract for DOF’s Offshore Construction Vessel

Chevron Brazil (Chevron) has extended the contract for Skandi Salvador and related services with one year from September 2012. The one year extension has a value of approximately USD 41 million.

Skandi Salvador is a construction vessel built in Brazil.

The vessel was delivered form yard in 2009 and has, since the delivery, performed various services at Chevron’s Frade field offshore Brazil. It is equipped with a large subsea crane, a large subsea winch and 2 ROVs.
