The milestone has been achieved during the construction phase and the subsequent transition to operations.

The milestone has been recognized by the America’s National Safety Council with a Perfect Record Award.

Sempra LNG owns a 50.2 per cent interest in Cameron LNG, a 12 million tonnes per annum export facility operating in Hackberry, Louisiana, USA. The three-train natural gas liquefaction export facility began full commercial operations in August 2020.

Cameron LNG was able to operate the facility with a safety record and without a case of onsite transmission of COVID-19.
