Cargo Ship ‘Aztec Maiden’ Runs Aground Off Dutch Coast

Dutch media reported that the cargo ship Aztec Maiden run aground on Friday, off the Dutch coast.

The Philippine cargo ship was stranded near the beach of Wijk aan Zee, 20km west of Amsterdam, after breaking its anchor during a storm thus it drifted towards the coastline.

According to the Dutch coast guard officials, the ship carrying 21 crew members and no cargo is stable and there is no sign of any fuel leak.
