CFE books six LNG cargoes

Mexico’s Federal Electricity Commission reportedly acquired six cargoes of liquefied natural gas for delivery in the first half of 2016.

Five LNG cargoes have been acquired from banking giant Citi while one delivery will be made by Gazprom Marketing & Trading, Reuters reported citing unnamed sources.

It was added that CFE will be delivered one cargo per month from January through June.

At the beginning of the year, the state-owned utility booked eight LNG cargoes from Trafigura and BP that were delivered from February until November to the Manzanillo LNG terminal.
