Chengxi Shipyard Hands Over Handymax Shenghua 502

On the morning of June 29, a grand naming & delivery ceremony for Shenghuazhonghai Shipping’s second 46,000 DWT bulk carrier was held on at the outfitting quay of Chengxi Shipyard. Mr. Cao Jiwei, Vice President of the shipyard presided over the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Han Jianguo, member of the CPC Leading Group and Vice President of Shenghua Group; Mr. Nan Daqing, member of CSSC Party Leadership Group and Vice President of CSSC Group; Mr. Zhang Denghui, Assistant President of China Shipping( Group) Company; Mr. Tao Jian, Vice President of CSTC; Mr. Mao Zhongsheng, Chairman and Mr. Yuan Jinzhong, President of Shenghuazhonghai Shipping Co., Ltd.; Mr. Hu Jingen,Chairman and Mr.Wang Yongliang, President of Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd.

Mr. Hu Jingen extended his thanks for the great support and trust that was provided by Shenghuazhonghai Shipping, and hoped that the deepened understanding and trust between the both companies could further consolidate the mutual cooperation relationships.

At the ceremony the vessel was named ‘Shenghua 502’, Mr. Gui Huixin, Mr. Wang Yongliang and Mr. Tao Jian signed the delivery documents.
