China: April LNG Imports Climb 24 Percent

China, the world’s biggest energy consumer, imported 1.06 million tons of liquefied natural gas in April, up 24 percent compared to a year earlier, customs data showed.

In January-April, cumulative LNG imports came to 4.31 million tons, up 36 percent on year.

The country imported 1,126,532 of LNG in March, up 34 percent on year.
