China: Changxing Shipyard Finishes MV Ital Oceano Repair Project

China Shipping Industry Changxing Shipyard successfully completed the repair project of MV Ital Oceano . The subject vessel belongs to Hansa Shipping GmbH & Co. KG and its main particulars are as follows: LOA is 212.84m, Breadth is 32.24m. The main jobs of this vessel was normal dock repair items and some pieces of hull plate renewal.

The production department of our shipyard arranged the repair schedule and workman power properly. They overcame the difficulties of high-temperature, rain and un-sufficiency of man power. The leaders, repair manager, supervisors, business representative, fore-men and subcontractors cooperated with each other well so as to solve the difficulties smoothly. They also built the good relationship with the owner. The repair period, safety, quality and service were concentrated by everyone. At last the whole repair project was completed one day ahead of the contracting schedule.

The owner was satisfied with the repair quality and period. Both sides were all looking forward to the next cooperation.
