China: Changxing Shipyard Repairs RORO Vessel MV Tarifa

On September 14th, Changxing Shipyard completed the repair of MV Tarifa to owner’s satisfaction.The subject vessel, a RORO vessel owned by a Greek shipping company, is 199.98M in terms of LOA and 32.26M of LOB. Main work scope is normal drydocking items and some steel work.

The owner has awarded to Changxing Shipyard with several repairs of similar work scope for her RORO vessels. The shipyard has placed close attention upon the repair management and customer services, and gained the trust by the ship owner.

Worth to be mentioned, for the steel wire replacement for side and stern ramp, the work volume was large while we had to work outboard. The shipyard arranged supervisors and business representatives who had sufficient experiences of managing such kind of repairs. The progress was closely monitored and best service was provided to ship owner in order to secure the quality and repair period.

The principle of being honest was followed by the departments and the interests of the ship owner were always placed as the first priority. The perfect end of high quality, on-time delivery, sound safety and good service has impressed the ship owner once more.
