China: CIC Changxing Shipyard Completes Repair Works for MV Pro Triumph

Recently the repair of M.V “Pro Trumph” was smoothly completed by CIC Changxing Shipyard. The subject vessel is owned by a Korean large-scale shipping company. Currently the company owns more than 40 vessels. The ship was the fourth one awarded by the owners to CIC Changxing shipyard in 2011.

As a product tanker with LOA 244.08m and molded breadth 42.4m, the vessel came to the yard for her first intermediate survey. Relying on the past successful experience of her sister vessel’s repair, the shipyard made full preparation in advance and assigned the previous repair team to take this project. Thanks to the close cooperation of both sides, the repair project was carried out in good order and the repair progress was controlled very well.

The smooth completion of the repair project has not only marked the friendly cooperation between the owners and CIC-Shipyards this year, also indicates the good start for the future.
