EPC Contract Awarded for SDIC Terminal at Qinzhou Port

Recently, CCCC Water Transportation Consultants Co., Ltd. has won the EPC contract for the SDIC coal terminal at Qinzhou Port, with a contract value of 1.123 billion yuan and a construction period of 36 months.

Located at Xigang zone, Qinzhou Port, the project involves the construction of a 50000t terminal handling berth with a length of 278 meters and an annual handling capacity of 6.4 million tons and its auxiliary facilities; as well as the reconstruction of the process system of the existing 70000t coal handling berth, thereby increasing the berth’s annual handling capacity from 5 million tons to 7.2 million tons. The total handling capacity of the project will be up to 13.6 million tons per year.

The project is of great significance to optimizing the coastal resources for coal at Qinzhou Port, perfecting Guangxi’s coastal coal transport system and promoting the development and construction of Guangxi’s Beibu Gulf economic zone.
