China: Jinhai Shipyard Delivers 79.600 DWT Bulk Carrier

Recently, the 79.600 DWT Bulk Carrier J0074 has been successfully delivered as the first vessel of this type from Jinhai Shipyard. Top leaders from Jinhai Shipyard, representatives from ship owner, ABS and J0073 crew, together with some cadres from Jinhai Shipyard attended the delivery ceremony held at No.1 wharf.

The vessel was put into the production in May, 2010. The successful accomplishment and delivery of J0074 shows the company’s advanced shipbuilding ability and strong skill strength, becoming a wealth of experience, and raises its development to a new level.

It is reported that this type of ship has overall length of 229m, 32.26m of breadth, 20.25m of depth, 14.62m of designed draft, and 14.62m of scantling draft.
