China: SF Shipyard Conducts Fire-Fighting Drill

Aimed to raise the fire-fighting awareness of all the security guards, improve their ability in organizing & handling fire suppression job on board, Security Section of SF shipyard arranged a fire-fighting drill.

To make sure that vessel fire is suppressed rapidly and effectively so as to reduce the property loss. 50-m fire-suppression competition, stretcher first-aid competition and simulated fire-fighting exercise in important section of E/R were included in the drill. After this drill all the security guards’ professional fire-fighting skills were enhanced and their awareness of teamwork & communication was strengthened.
