The agreement, which was signed by  Joop Wijn (Member of the Managing Board, ABN AMRO),  Li Zhongyuan (General Manager, Transport Finance Department, CEXIM) and Pieter Vroon (Vroon Group Supervisory Board member), represents an important step in further strengthening Vroon’s relationship with both banks.

Vroon has extensive, long-term business relations with a number of Chinese companies and banks. During the past 10 years, Vroon has had more than 50 vessels constructed by various Chinese shipyard groups. Currently, the company has over 30 vessels on order in China, with delivery scheduled in the period 2013-2016.
