CIC Boluomiao Shipyard Repairs Seven Vessels

CIC Boluomiao Shipyard Repairs Seven Vessels

In late May, seven vessels including M/V AN PING 1, HUB GRANDIOSE, GAS CORAL, XIN WJIN ZHOU and WISH AY departed from CIC Boluomiao Shipyard. The yard managed to complete the sound repair for the above vessels in time despite changeable weather, rains and the busy quay berth.

The range of projects for M/V HUB GRANDIOSE was quite varied with steel renewal for double bottom tank, tank top and fore peak tank. When the vessel arrived at the yard, every workshop had already made detailed plans according to the requirements of the job, paying attention to safety and repair schedule.

On May 25th, the ballast water test confirmed that the repair was successful. The following day, the vessel sailed away from the yard and embarked on a new voyage.

The projects relating to the repair of M/V GAS CORAL included mechanical and electrical repairs and docking. The yard conducted the repair of the main engine, generator system along with related outfit of machinery and other installations.

With respect to the repair of M/V AN PING 1, the yard undertook crane dismantling, refitted mechanical and electrical installations and conducted pipeline repairs. After a meticulous check of the sewage system in hatch cover, the yard completed all repair projects and ensured that the vessel sailed away from the yard smoothly.
