CIC, ZPMC Officialy Launch Cooperation in 2014

A five-member delegation from China Shipping Industry (CIC) paid a visit to Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited (ZPMC) on January 6th.

The delegation included General manager Ye Xiaojian, Deputy general manager Li Zhengjian of CIC, General manager Chen Xiong of CIC-Changxing Shipyard. The two parties discussed principles of strategic cooperation in various fields. President Lu Jianzhong, vice president Huang Hongyu and general manager Chen Bin of ZPMC, deputy general manager Xing Xudong of ZPMC-Changxing attended the meeting.

General manager Chen Bin of ZPMC gave General Manger Chen Xiong of CIC-shipyard the confirmation letter for MV Zhenhua 7, a conversion project from tanker to semi submersible barge. It opened the strategic cooperation between ZPMC and CIC in 2014. General manger Chen Xiong of CIC-Changxing shipyard said that the shipyard would complete this task with high quality, to add to outstanding and long-term cooperation.

President Lu Jianzhong of ZPMC, on behalf of ZPMC, expressed the good will for the long-term strategic cooperation with CIC. He voiced his hope that both sides will learn from each other’s complementary advantages and open the ‘gate’ of cooperation in all fields between the two state-owned enterprises.

General Manager Ye Xiaojian of CIC pointed out that ZPMC and CIC have a well-established and long standing history. “We shall use the strategic vision, exchange respective advantages, adhering the principle of ‘resource sharing, complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win’, to carry out strategic cooperation in all fields,” he added.
