Clean Energy bunkers Isla Bella with LNG

Clean Energy Fuels said it has provided LNG bunkering services and fuel from its Boron liquefaction plant for the GD NASSCO-built Isla Bella cargo ship.

The 764-foot long Marlin Class LNG-powered containership was delivered to TOTE Maritime in mid-October in San Diego.

According to Clean Energy, it will also be providing bunkering services next month to the second General Dynamics NASSCO-built ship, the Perla Del Caribe.

The Jones Act-qualified ships will operate between Jacksonville, Florida, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
