CLS America, Horizon Marine, Woods Hole Group Merge

CLS America, Horizon Marine and the Woods Hole Group have merged into one company named the Woods Hole Group, effective January 01, 2018.

CLS America is an expert in satellite technology while Horizon Marine’s expertise lies in offshore oceanography for the energy industry.

The merger with Woods Hole Group provides services including: environmental assessment, fisheries and wildlife satellite tracking, ocean current forecasting, coastal engineering, ocean monitoring systems, habitat restoration and climate change planning projects.

Current Woods Hole Group CFO Chris Adomanis said, “This merger brings together three companies, each with over 30 years of experience, each pioneers in providing cutting edge scientific data vital to our clients that impact the Earth’s environment.”

Traditional Woods Hole Group services related to applied ecology, coastal sciences and engineering, and ocean measurement systems remain.
