Consultancy firm NIRAS has completed the acquisition of marine ecology consultancy, CMACS.

NIRAS now employs a dedicated UK team of 35 professional marine consultants based in Cambridge, Dorking, Glasgow, the Isle of Man and Liverpool.

Dr Ian Gloyne-Phillips will manage the NIRAS coastal and marine ecology team which is based in Liverpool. Dr Terry Holt becomes technical director, based in the Isle of Man.

Dr Tim Norman, managing director of NIRAS Consulting, said: “I am delighted that we have joined forces with CMACS, who have a wealth of experience and expertise in marine and coastal ecology. Our combined teams now offer a full range of marine, intertidal and coastal survey and assessment services.”
