CNPC Chairman, Shell CEO Meet in Bejing

CNPC Chairman Zhou Jiping met on Wednesday with Shell CEO Peter Voser and CEO Designate Ben van Beurden in Beijing.

In retrospect of the cooperation achievements made by the two companies in the past five years, they exchanged views on further deepening and expanding cooperation.

The two sides agreed to take the unconventional gas joint projects in Sichuan as demonstration ones with most advanced, applicable and environmentally friendly technologies, and push the strategic partnership between CNPC and Shell to a higher level.

CNPC Vice President Wang Dongjin and PetroChina Vice President Bo Qiliang were present at the meeting.
