Contract Extension for Accommodation Rig ‘Safe Scandinavia’ (Norway)

Prosafe and BP Norge AS have agreed to extend the Safe Scandinavia’s operations at Valhall until 31st January 2013. In addition, Prosafe has granted BP Norge AS an additional one-month option.

The value of the one-month contract extension is approximately USD 9.3 million.

Prosafe is an owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation/service rigs. Operating profit reached USD 192.3 million in 2011. The company operates globally, employs 550 people and is headquartered in Larnaca, Cyprus.
