Cool Explorer on its way to Zeebrugge

Fluxys-operated LNG terminal in Zeebrugge is scheduled for a new delivery of Qatari LNG.

The cargo is being transported aboard the Thenamaris carrier, the 2015 built Cool Explorer with a capacity of 160,000 cbm. The Samsung Heavy Industries built vessel departed from Ras Laffan on March 14 and is scheduled to dock at the LNG terminal on March 30, shipping data reveals.

The Zeebrugge terminal is one of the major European LNG hubs able to receive 110 carriers per year.

The terminal consists of 4 LNG tanks totaling 380,00 cbm, a truck loading station, an existing jetty with one more jetty under construction and due to be completed this year.
