Dahej gets LNG cargo

Petronet’s Dahej LNG import terminal on India’s west coast received a cargo of LNG from Qatar this weekend.

The load was delivered onboard the 138,700 cbm Raahi LNG carrier. The vessel departed from Dahej to Ras Laffan on Sunday, according to shipping data.

Petronet LNG said recently that its Board of Directors has given green light for the expansion of Dahej terminal’s capacity to 17.5 million tonnes per annum.

The company is already working on expanding Dahej’s capacity from 10 mtpa to 15 mtpa. Expansion works at the terminal are expected to be complete by November, 2016.
