Dahej gets LNG cargo

Petronet’s Dahej LNG terminal on India’s west coast received a cargo of LNG onboard the 138,097 cbm Disha on Wednesday from Qatar, according to shipping data.

The LNG carrier is currently docked at the 10 mtpa Dahej terminal, the data shows.

Toyo Engineering of Japan has this year secured a contract from Petronet to boost the LNG receiving capacity of the Dahej terminal from 10 to 15 mtpa.

Petronet plans to even further expand capacity of the Dahej terminal to 17.5 million tonnes per annum.
