Dart Energy International Gets CEO

Dart Energy Limited announce the appointment of John Mc Goldrick as CEO for Dart Energy (CBM) International Pte Ltd with effect from 16 January 2012.

John, a chemical engineer by training, has 32 years experience in the upstream oil and gas business, and has lived and worked in the UK, France, Ireland and the USA. During his career he has been involved in all aspects of the exploration and production business and has gained valuable insight into the business internationally.

His current role is as non-executive Chairman of Caza Oil & Gas Inc, a company based in Texas, USA. During his time with Caza (formerly Falcon Bay Energy LLC) as CEO/Executive Chairman from 2004, John took the company public in Toronto and London and in 2010, he became nonexecutive Chairman. Most of his career was spent at Enterprise Oil where he held a variety of senior management roles, including the leadership of their Republic of Ireland operations, before moving to Houston to be responsible for their American operations. John left Enterprise Oil following their takeover by Shell in 2002. Since 2008, John has also been a non-executive Director of Vanguard Natural Resources LLC, a NYSE-listed Oil & Gas company focused on the US.

John will be based in Singapore and one of his initial priorities will be leading the proposed corporate re-structuring program of Dart Energy International, amongst other business goals for 2012.

Commenting on John’s appointment, Dart’s Executive Chairman Nick Davies said: “After an intensive search, we are delighted to have been able to recruit a candidate of John’s calibre. His extensive leadership experience with Enterprise Oil and his more recent experience of leading a start-up company through dual IPO processes, together with his board experience will prove invaluable in leading Dart Energy International through its proposed corporate restructuring program and its subsequent, planned high growth profile. We welcome John to Dart
