Deep Sea Supply CEO steps down

The Board of Directors of Deep Sea Supply and Finn Amund Norbye have reached an agreement that Norbye will step down as CEO after close to 10 years in the company.

Chairman of Deep Sea Supply, Harald Thorstein said: “Finn Amund Norbye has been an energetic and structured CEO who has done an excellent job in developing Deep Sea Supply to a leading international offshore company.”

“We want to thank Norbye for his strong efforts, and we wish him good luck in his future endeavors.”

Finn Amund Norbye comments: “My 10 years with Deep Sea Supply have been a great experience. The Company has grown considerably from the six vessels start up in 2005, and is now very well positioned for the future with a professional international organization, solid financials and a modern fleet of 40 vessels.”

According to the company, Harald Thorstein, Chairman of Deep Sea Supply Plc, will act as interim CEO until a replacement is recruited. Norbye will step down effective December 5.
