Deep Sea Supply: One vessel hired, another one dropped

Deep Sea Supply has been awarded a contract for one of its Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels and received contract termination for a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) vessel.

According to the company, the vessel Sea Bear was awarded a contract for 120 days firm plus 60 daily options for operations in Mediterranean waters. The contract is scheduled to start in early April 2015.

Furthermore, Deep Sea Supply received termination notice of the time charter contract for Sea Falcon for operations in North Sea. The termination is effective as of end March.

The Sea Falcon was performing supply duties for Apache in the UK North Sea from April 2013. The vessel was recently involved in an incident, when it crashed into Apache-operated Forties Echo platform in the North Sea while offloading supplies.
