Deep Trekker Presents New ROVs at Underwater Intervention

Equipment

Deep Trekker will showcase its new line of ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) at the Underwater Intervention conference and exhibition from February 10–12 in New Orleans.

The product line is based on the designs of the Deep Trekker’s DTG2 ROV system. The system features patented pitching system and 360 degree window which make it easy to use.

The company says that along with on-board batteries and a hand-held video controller, the Deep Trekker ROVs can be deployed in less than a minute with a 1 or 2 person team.

Alongside new products Deep Trekker will also showcase their 200 gallon water tank and the DTG2 ROV.

Underwater Intervention was in a lot of ways our coming out party to the market,” said Sam Macdonald, President of Deep Trekker. “Before UI 2013 the industry had never seen a robust commercial grade ROV that piloted like ours and was affordable. With this in mind, UI 2015 was an obvious choice to unveil our new line of ROVs.

Deep Trekker team will be exhibiting at the booth 210 in New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
