Det Norske Drills Duster at Dovregubben Prospect Offshore Norway

 

Det norske oljeselskap ASA is about to plug and abandon exploration well 6305/9-2 on the Dovregubben prospect in PL 468. The well did not encounter any hydrocarbons. Additional information about the well will be released by the NPD shortly.

Dovregubben was drilled with the semi submersible drilling rig Aker Barents. The rig will upon completion of the drilling operation on Dovregubben, mobilise to PL 522, where it will drill the Gullris prospect.

PL 522 is operated by BG Group and Det norske holds a 20 percent interest in the license.
