Double delivery for UK’s South Hook LNG

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is about to receive two deliveries of Qatari LNG in quick succession. 

According to shipping data, the Al Samriya LNG carrier, with a capacity of 263,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive at the South Hook terminal on December 27 with the 266,000 cbm Mozah scheduled to arrive just two days later, on December 29.

Owned by Qatar Petroleum, Exxon Mobil and Total, South Hook LNG terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year, providing sustained supply of gas to the UK’s national transmission system.
