Ebara Corporation integrated the operation of its Ebara International Corporation’s cryodynamics division (EIC Cryo) based in, Nevada into Elliott Group based in Pennsylvania.

EIC Cryo manufactures cryogenic pumps and expanders for the liquefied gas industries, while Elliot is a supplier of refrigeration compressors for baseload LNG plants.

The strategic, inter-divisional realignment combines operations under Elliott Group, a unit of the Japanese Ebara Corporation.

“After careful review, we recognized the shared synergies in markets, product lines, and customer base,” said Tadashi Urata, CEO of Ebara International Corporation.

Michael Lordi, Elliott Group’s CEO added that the two companies will work closely to ensure safe operation, while no immediate changes to how the group conducts business.

Integrating the operation of EIC Cryo into Elliott Group will take place over the next 24 months. EIC Cryo, will continue to operate under that name and will be operated as one of four business units within Elliott Group.
