The announcement follows the launch of a new purpose built office, EFC House, at Enterprise Park Forres, which was officially opened by Fergus Ewing MSP in March 2014.

EFC Group has already created over 20 jobs in the Moray region as a result of opening a first satellite base at the Enterprise Park in July 2012, and the service company is geared up for further international growth as a result of the new electric and hydraulic production capacity that EFC House offers.

Bob Will, CEO at EFC Group, said: “We have already seen great success as a result of expanding our presence in Scotland. We have been able to access a previously untapped skill pool, recruiting personnel with skills which are well suited to our business. The additional capabilities now on offer have meant that we are able to handle larger and more complex projects, and take on more work than ever before.”

EFC Group has also strengthened its management team, promoting sales and marketing manager Louise McGowan to commercial director.

With over 15 years’ experience in sales and marketing, McGowan was previously a commercial operations specialist at GE Oil & Gas, before joining EFC Group in 2001.

The new commercial director role will involve leading teams across the sales, marketing and business development functions, to achieve the commercial aims that will support the company’s growth plans.

Commenting on her new role, McGowan said: “We have trebled our order book in the last three years and won a number of significant contracts in recent months, many of which have been thanks to the extended capabilities that our new Forres base offers. This is an extremely exciting time to be part of EFC Group and my focus on the commercial aspect of the business will see a drive to continue this success.”

Will added: “It is critical that the correct team is in place to achieve our long term objectives. The evolution of EFC Group has set us on track to exceed our target of £30million turnover by 2016, and it is critical that we continue developing our business and service offering to ensure that this is achieved.”
