DPW Participates in MED PORTS 2013

DPW Sokhna had the privilege of participating in the 1st Mediterranean ports 2013 conference and exhibition which was held in Alexandria on 23-24 April 2013, including the presence of more than 300 executives and decision makers of the important global ports, shipping companies, cargo owners, shipping lines, logistic services companies, ports operating companies, rail ways companies, services providers, and ports equipment companies.

Ayman Badawy the DPWS commercial manager, has greeted all the attendees in his speech, emphasizing on the great potentials that Egypt has in both its Mediterranean Sea ports, and Red Sea ports, that can qualify Egypt to be a global trade center.

The speech was under the title of “Red Sea Ports and infrastructure development” in which Ayman Badawy mentioned that the Red Sea Ports are considered to be the most important Egyptian ports that support and strength the Egyptian economy through the trade flow of Egyptian imports and exports especially after the prosperity in the Far East trade activities.

And in a brief, Mr. Ayman Badawy categorized the Egyptian ports according to its specialty and its activities. Bringing out DPW Sokhna as a great example in this, “DPW Sokhna is the only Egyptian red sea port that can handle the new generations of the huge container vessels, as we are keen to keep up with fast development in this business, and we are ready to provide the best quality service to our customers that exceed their expectations
