Egypt, Gazprom strike LNG cargo delivery deal

Russia’s Gazprom struck a deal with Egypt for the delivery of seven LNG cargoes, Egypt’s Industry and Trade Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said.

First shipments will be delivered in early December and Russian gas giant signed the deal with Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), PRIME news agency reported.

Further cooperation between Gazprom and Egypt is possible, especially in the field of exploration as the Russian gas giant was offered to take parts in tenders to explore oil and gas fields in the country.
