Egypt Starts Subsea Search for Flight Data Recorders

Egypt has deployed a submarine to search for flight recorders of the EgyptAir’s flight MS804.

According to the earlier reports, the debris of the Airbus 320 plane has been found in Mediterranean Sea.

The flight MS804 vanished from radar on Thursday en route from Paris to Cairo with 66 people onboard.

According to Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the submarine, usually used to service oil rigs, will search for black box recorders.

Air crash investigators explained that teams have around 30 days to listen for pings sent out once every second from beacons attached to the two black boxes.

On Friday, the media reported that the most likely cause of the crash is terrorism, rather than technical fault.

The Egyptian officials have told that all scenarios are possible, and that it will take time to find the exact cause of the crash.
