Eidesvik scoops extensions for two supply vessels

Norwegian supply, subsea and seismic shipping company, Eidesvik Offshore, has been awarded contract extensions for two of its vessels by a French oil major Total.

Eidesvik was awarded contract extensions for the platform supply vessels, the Viking Lady and Viking Athene.

These two supply vessels will work for Total E&P on the Solaris well in the North Sea and the contract is in direct continuation with the current contract.

According to Eidesvik, estimated duration is 150 days for Viking Lady and 45 days for the Viking Athene, but the company did not reveal any financial details of the deal.

Eidesvik recently posted a net loss for the fourth quarter of 2015, despite rise in revenues.
