EMGS Wins Barents Data Sale

Norway’s Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has secured a new data licensing deal for the provision of 3D EM data from EMGS’ multi-client data library in the Barents Sea.

According to the company’s Oslo Stock Exchange filing, the deal is worth USD 1.1 million.

The company did not disclose the client and when the data will be delivered.

EMGS will book the multi-client sales in the third quarter 2015.

In accordance with the company’s multi-client data library update, EMGS in Norway covers 50,000 square kilometers of 3D full azimuth Multi-Client data in the Barents Sea.
