Enagas LNG numbers on the rise

Spanish LNG operator Enagás said it has offloaded 115 tankers of the chilled gas (equivalent to 104 TWh) at its terminals in 2014.

Enagás said it conducted 37 tanker loading operations (34 TWh) for export purposes, an increase of 85% as compared with 2013.

As per LNG trucking operations, more than 21,600 tanks of LNG were loaded, 1,331 for export to the company’s 18 international destinations since 2013, the company said in a report.

The company currently operates five of the seven plants in Spain: Barcelona, Cartagena, Huelva, BBG (Bilbao, 40%) and El Musel.

It also co-owns the Altamira regasification plant (Mexico) and is the main shareholder in GNL Quintero terminal (Chile).
