Engie prolongs contract for jack-up Noble Regina Allen

Noble Corporation, an international offshore drilling contractor, has received a contract extension for one of its rigs.

Namely, French energy company Engie, formerly known as GDF Suez, has extended the contract for the jack-up rig Noble Regina Allen.

According to Noble’s latest fleet status report, the extension is effective from late June to early September 2015, with a dayrate of $155,000.

Before the extension, the rig was operating for Engie from mid-January 2014 till late June 2015 with a dayrate of $233,000.

The rig was built in 2013 and it is operating offshore the Netherlands.
