Eni and CEO Descalzi receive Corporate Social Responsibility Award

Italian oil major Eni and its CEO Claudio Descalzi have been awarded by the Foreign Policy Association (FPA) with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2015.

According to the press release from Eni, the award is assigned to companies and individuals for their contribution to sustainable development in their operational field and in corporate social responsibility.

“This award reflects Claudio Descalzi’s 30 years commitment to corporate social responsibility now considered a core competency in all multinational companies,” Eni said in the statement.

The mission of the FPA, founded in 1918, is based on the development of knowledge and understanding, and the dissemination of information on US foreign policy and issues of global interest.
